The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Eyob Tekalign, Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia, as the Guest of Honor. In his keynote address, H.E. Eyob highlighted the Government’s commitment to strengthening Ethiopia’s financial sector and emphasized the importance of developing a strong, modern, and resilient insurance industry. He further noted that the establishment of a dedicated insurance regulatory framework is underway and reaffirmed the National Bank of Ethiopia’s continued support for the sustainable growth and advancement of the insurance sector.
